This year it was Saverio Mercadante's opera “I due Figaro”, which has celebrated its premiere on 10 June 2011 under the direction of Riccardo Muti and his “Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini”. Lange decided in 2006 to support the new artistic concept for the Whitsun Festival, which focuses on the revival of forgotten masterpieces of the Neapolitan School. This collaboration is based on shared values, in particular a passion for perfection and respect for the craftsmanship without which even the best artistic concepts cannot be implemented.
