A constant stimulus for intercultural dialogue A. Lange & Söhne supports the Salzburg Whitsun Festival in the fifth year

(06/2011) A. Lange & Söhne has assisted in the realisation of an opera production at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival for the past five years. This year it was Saverio Mercadante's opera “I due Figaro”, which has celebrated its premiere on 10 June 2011 under the direction of Riccardo Muti and his “Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini”. Lange decided in 2006 to support the new artistic concept for the Whitsun Festival, which focuses on the revival of forgotten masterpieces of the Neapolitan School. This collaboration is based on shared values, in particular a passion for perfection and respect for the craftsmanship without which even the best artistic concepts cannot be implemented.

At the 61st Berlin International Film Festival premiere of Unknown, on February 18th, 2011, Diane Kruger played her role to perfection as the face of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin. This festival is one of the most important dates in the international film industry’s calendar and annually hosts more than 19,000 film professionals from 128 countries, including about 4,000 journalists.
