(10/2013) The Victorinox group has announced the regrouping of its watchmaking activities with Wenger, effective from 1st October this year, as well as the appointment of Alexandre Bennouna, aged 47, to the post of CEO of Wenger and Victorinox Swiss Army. The aim of this merger is to optimise the strategy of the two brands on markets, and to go further in meeting customer expectations.
(08/2013) On Monday August 19, 2013, German watchmaker Glashütte Original welcomed 28 new apprentices to the start of their training at the “Alfred Helwig” School of Watchmaking. Of 28 apprentices, 24 will learn the profession of watchmaking and 4 will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become toolmakers.
