The new Class-1 Chronolady collection from prestigious Swiss watchmaker Edox opens a bold frontier for women’s timepieces, superbly blending elegant styling and a touch of class with features normally associated with men’s sports watches.

For a start, there’s the groovy ceramic bezel and water resistance to 20 ATM (200m, 660 feet). The Chronolady, powered by an Edox 10 movement, is housed in a robust stainless steel case with pink PVD coating. But at 38mm the Chronolady, unlike some of its male-oriented counterparts, doesn’t overwhelm the wrist (to which it is attached via an Edox-logo imprinted black rubber strap with folding clasp).

And the blue mother-of-pearl dial with pink indices means the watch is as perfectly suited as a stylish accessory to an evening out as it is as a “workhorse” during the day. With hours, minutes, seconds, date and chronograph displays, the Class-1 Chronolady not only looks good, it is the perfect accessor y to the 21st Century woman’s busy life.
