Tradition CallsBASELWORLD 2012: Chronoswiss presents the new Kairos Chronograph
Back to the roots: After the successful launch of the Pacific line and the Lady Collection, it is now time to add to the most original Chronoswiss line, the traditional Kairos. At Baselworld 2012, alongside a new version of the Kairos model, visitors will be treated to a new chronograph version of this classic.
Back in time: With the new Kairos Chronograph, Chronoswiss is turning back the hands of time a little without stopping them entirely. In the 1990s, Chronoswiss had already launched a model by this name with an off-centered display at the 3 o’clock position. The Kairos Chronograph of the next generation is inspired by the design language of its predecessor, but is outfitted with a central display that is ultimately legible. Additionally, it offers great functionality with a day/date window at the 3 o’clock position.
Design with tradition: Even interms of aesthetics, the Kairos Chronograph of the 21st century remains on par with its role model. Stylishly decorated with the guilloché pattern so characteristic of this line – here in a lavish wave figure – the solid Sterling silver dial is a real eye-catcher. The chronograph has become entirely contemporary boasting a proud new case size of 42 mm, which remains entirely in line with its traditional look. Whether elegant in a solid red gold case, sporty in stainless steel, or robust in an anthracite-colored DLC coating, the new interpretation is a resounding success. This version of the Kairos Chronograph is all set to conquer a new generation of watch lovers.
