Special Constellation SkyFirst-ever OMEGA Flagship Store in Thailand Opens in Bangkok
OMEGA today opened its first flagship store in Thailand. The store in Bangkok complements the brand's global strategy of setting up retail outlets dedicated exclusively to its products in the world's major luxury shopping districts. The OMEGA flagship store, located on the 1st floor of the Gaysorn Bangkok shopping complex, covers a total surface area of 40m2. It is staffed by sales assistants with a detailed knowledge of the OMEGA collection, as well as an OMEGA-trained watchmaker who is on hand to provide qualified servicing of the brand's products using state-of-the art equipment and apparatus.
The interior is decorated in the familiar OMEGA design, with one unique feature: the ceiling includes a special "Constellation Sky" in allusion to the brand's famous Constellation collection. The blue ceiling houses a complex array of optical fibres which depict the constellations in the night sky. This is a first for any OMEGA flagship stores and complements the standard design of the shops by highlighting the importance of the Constellation collection.
OMEGA President Stephen Urquhart officially opened the store, citing its importance for the development of the brand in Thailand. The store forms part of a strategy for establishing such retail presences worldwide and follows on from flagship stores already opened in Zurich, Paris and Cannes. Experience has shown that such stores offer both the ideal complement to OMEGA's existing retail network and a unique platform for presenting the brand and its products in an appropriate environment.
