The new DS MULTI-8 is equipped with a unique ETA 8-function analog-digital movement. It brings a highly useful array of features to this original timepiece, such as twin "time-swap" timezones over its analog HM hands, and full calendar-week information, alarm, timer and chrono functions over its digital display. Professional and sober at first glance, the DS MULTI-8's technical nature comes alive at the push of its three control buttons, which also activate the sharp backlit display.

Time here or time elsewhere, available in an instant, according to your own favourite settings, and alarms available for both distinct timezones. A traveller's delight, with acoustic and vibro alarm!

In a gorgeous, oversized 316L stainless steel case which blends contrasting finishes in perfect harmony—with finely brushed lugs next to brightly polished case sides and bezel—it easily spans lifestyles, from classic business to sporty globetrotting. Its sapphire crystal is treated with anti-reflection coating on both faces, to ensure optimal reading of hands and digital display. Its black dial is uncluttered and modern, and generous amounts of Superluminova on its HM hands, indices and Arabic numerals at the quarter hours, ensure perfect readability under all conditions. The new DS MULTI-8 sports three beautifully finished push-buttons to operate its various functions. The upper and lower buttons are slightly smaller while the central button, larger and thicker, carries the symbolic 'DS' monogram upon its smoothly rounded tip. Thanks to the CERTINA DS Concept, the watch is water resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m).

The DS MULTI-8 is available with either a brown leather strap with twin-pushbutton butterfly clasp, or with a matching three-row stainless steel bracelet with polished central links and brushed outer links, held together by a folding safety buckle. A fully titanium version (case and bracelet) is also available.

BASELNEWS 2011 Gucci Timepieces launches two precious variants of the G-Frame watch

Gucci Timepieces is pleased to introduce two new precious variants of the G-Frame watch designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini. The super-slim rectangular case of these G-Frame variants features diamonds set along the sides of the case at 3 and 9 o’ clock, creating the perfect formal, feminine timepiece. The dial is notably minimal, adorned simply with elegant hands and the Gucci name at 12 o’clock. The fine stainless steel bracelet comes with a Gucci brown mirrored dial. As with all G-Frame models, the sapphire crystal glass is bevel-cut and scratch-resistant.
