The Fifth Avenue location of Tiffany & Co. is an iconic New York landmark forming the heart of Manhattan’s premier shopping district and providing the backdrop for countless series and films. Inspired by the prestigious address and architectural features of Tiffany’s flagship boutique, Tiffany Watch Co. Ltd presents the 5th Avenue timepieces in 36 mm and 46 mm.
Crafted in polished 18-carat white gold, the streamlined rectangular case of both the 36 mm and 46 mm watches is reminiscent of the main door leading into Tiffany & Co.’s magical world. The dial of the 36 mm model, much like the gleaming display cabinets of precious gems at Tiffany’s, features the conspicuous diamond encrusted numeral 5 and the letters AV that spell out the renowned address. In contrast, the dial of the eye-catching 46 mm reverses the display and features a sapphire studded dial (2.67 carats) with white lacquered numerals and letters.
Available with either a black or a silver background, the numeral and letters of the 36 mm sparkle with 145 Top Wesselton diamonds worth 0.26 carats on the dial and are protected with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. In order to respect the sleek, architectural silhouette of the case, an hour and minute corrector is located on the back of the case that can be adjusted with a special tool provided with the watch.
The new models of 5th Avenue are presented on a galuchat strap. The unusual texture of the galuchat strap, with its granular surface, adds an exotic touch to the contemporary, bold character of this watch. Like the case, the buckle is crafted in 18-carat white gold and fully set with 20 diamonds (0.58 carats) for the 36 mm and 20 blue sapphires (1.20 carats) for the 46 mm. The 5th Avenue is powered by a Swiss quartz movement.
