Salon International de la Haute HorlogerieThe master watchmakers of A. LANGE & SÖHNE are preparing for a big scence
Despite the snow chaos and freezing temperatures, the Lange watchmakers are all excited and feverishly face up to the 18th of January 2010, which marks the beginning of the most important week in the calendar of the watch industry. That will be the date of the opening of the “Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie” (SIHH) in Geneva where A. Lange & Söhne will present the most recent designs of the traditional brand.
The master watchmakers of Lange still have to be patient until then, being unable to do anything, as the prototypes of their new products are already on their way to Geneva. The experts there are going to decide next week, whether the years of work of the designers and technologists will pay off.
As a trade fair the SIHH can be visited by invitation only. But A. Lange & Söhne is giving people an opportunity to participate in the SIHH
the way they never could before. Visitors of the Lange website http://www.lange-soehne.com/ will not only come to know the 2010 novelties in an unprecedented way through live blogs by the author Peter Starlinger and interviews with the Lange team, they will also be able to interact directly with members of the team during the event through an ongoing Question & Answers session. There is no better way to get interesting insights into the fascinating world of Lange’s state-of-the-art watch making.
