Harmony and elegance: distinctive features of the BaroncelliBASELWORLD 2013: The Mido Baroncelli Chronograph

For the watchmaker Mido, the remarkable architecture of a building is synonymous with a mark of true design, just like the Baroncelli. The new Baroncelli Chronograph features a pure design and is equipped with an automatic movement with chronograph function.

The case, treated with rose PVD, encircles a silver sunray satinated dial. Structured on two levels, it is adorned with two snailed counters. The two blued-steel hands lend a dash of elegance to this model.

Rennes Opera House stands out for its rounded architecture. Its subtle curves and contours are particularly remarkable. The Baroncelli Chronograph is a stunning evocation of this building of timeless elegance.

This new chronograph is equipped with an automatic movement with top finishing and is fitted with a transparent case back enabling the finely decorated automatic movement to be admired. With a diameter of 42 mm, this timepiece is water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bar (50 m / 165 ft).

The sleek design of the Baroncelli Chronograph is a testament to timeless style. Encircled by a round polished stainless steel case treated with rose PVD, the dial unfolds on two levels. The silver sunray satinated dial is embellished with two snailed counters at 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock, extending slightly beyond the centre circle. The appliques are faceted and golden-rose. The blued-steel central 60-seconds counter hand and small seconds hand at 9 o'clock lend this timepiece a certain refinement. The other four hands are bevelled and golden-rose. An anti-reflecting sapphire crystal, treated on both sides, confers easy readability.

This new Baroncelli is mounted on a black leather strap. It is also available in full steel versions with silver dial, anthracite dial and nickel-plated appliques, or in steel case version with silver dial and nickel-plated appliques.
