A magnificently modern interpretationBASELWORLD 2016: The elegant Chopard L.U.C regulator
In the nineteenth century, a regulator was a wall clock that enabled all the precision timers in a given workshop to set timepieces to the exact same time. So as to be clearly visible, the hours, minutes and seconds hands appeared on different parts of the dial.
Having become a classic model in the L.U.C collection by Chopard, the regulator returns in a magnificently modern interpretation.
Featuring exceptional readability of its six indications by means of a perfectly symmetrical display, the L.U.C Regulator cleverly places the hours counter at 3 o’clock so as to facilitate read-off. Its COSC-certified Manufacture movement bearing the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark is housed in a slender case. Its historical roots, its high-precision rate as well as its beautifully balanced proportions make this a watch ideally embodying the elegance and horological prestige of the L.U.C collection. Model presented at Baselworld 2015.
