Premiere Middle East exposition of the 165 Years - Homage to F. A. LangeA. Lange & Söhne precision watchmaking exhibition in Dubai
Between 9 and 18 September 2010, visitors at Dubai Mall were offered the opportunity to experience the true essence of precision watchmaking at the "A. Lange & Söhne Performance Watchmaking" exhibition, including the premiere Middle East exposition of the “165 Years - Homage to F. A. Lange” collection.
The exhibition featured four fascinating informative zones: "The History of A. Lange & Söhne" displayed historic Lange pocket watches. "The Six Steps in Precision Watchmaking" provided outstanding insights into the manufacturing process at A. Lange & Söhne. "Craftsmanship in Luxury Watchmaking" offered a live expert demonstration of the intricate art of engraving, whilst the last zone, ‘Making of the Trilogy’, was dedicated to the “Homage to F. A. Lange” collection, comprising the TOURBOGRAPH “Pour Le Mérite”, the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON, and the 1815 MOONPHASE, all in 18 carat honey-coloured gold.
The exhibition as inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The opening ceremony was also hosted by Abdulmagied Ahmed Seddiqi, Chairman, and Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, Vice President Sales & Retail, of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, and also attended by A. Lange & Söhne representatives Daniel Rogger, International Director, and Matthieu Dupont, Middle East Brand Manager.
