Define Watches is new distributor Hanhart available in Australia and New Zealand

Precision timepieces from the watch manufacturer Hanhart 1882 GmbH from the Black Forest/ Germany are now also available in Australia and New Zealand. On 1 August 2016, Hanhart signed a distribution agreement with Define Watches. Over the past eight years Define Watches has established a reputation as Australasia’s leading specialist for high-end, independent, German watch brands.

More than 20 years of experience Jan Edöcs takes over operational management at Hanhart

Starting immediately Jan Edöcs will assume responsibility for operations at Hanhart. He will also continue to be a senior partner at the business and financial consulting group Consalve AG, whose services Hanhart already employed in the past. The 42-year-old Edöcs has more than 20 years' experience in the watch industry (Omega, Swatch Ltd., Versace, Milus International SA) and has proven experience in business management.

Pilot chronographs with two displays set far back from each other formed the image of Hanhart from as early as the 1930s. The Pioneer TwinDicator is based on this tradition of the Swiss-German brand yet with a new technical and aesthetic interpretation. To retain the characteristic bicompax design of the display, the hour counter has been integrated into the small seconds display. The exclusively modified automatic calibre enables the displays to be positioned right on the edge of the minimalist dial, creating an aesthetic balance – just like on their legendary predecessors.
