Lunacy!Extreme diving watch 20’000 FEET by CX Swiss Military Watch™ passes the ultimate test so far
Frank M. Bürgin (CEO Montres Charmex SA) is widely known as one of the foremost experts in the field of diving watches; he won the current world record for water resistance with the 20’000 FEET (6’000 meters), only a year after losing the title he had won with the 12’000 FEET and 3’900 meters to Rolex’ OYSTER PERPETUAL SEA-DWELLER DEEPSEA in 2008. Not only has the 20‘000 FEET set a new world record in 2009 but the tests this diving watch has been submitted to are as extreme as the watch itself: just last month the 20’000 FEET was thrown out of an airplane at 1’500 meters above ground by Sigi Menz, a former member of the German Special Forces.
This event took place in Hassfurt (www.flugplatz-hassfurt.de) and the video of the test can be seen here: http://www.20000feet.com/?play=skydive
