Bid for a cause and own a commemorative editionOnline Auction of the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea

From 18th to 21st April, 2011, Jaeger-LeCoultre launches its third online Auction for the preservation of marine World Heritage sites. This year, the Manufacture is offering for Auction a limited-series watch in tribute to the legend of diver’s watches: the Prototype N° 1 of the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea, “LeCoultre Spécial Amérique 1959” commemorative edition.

This commemorative edition reproduces an iconic piece belonging to Jaeger-LeCoultre's technical heritage, but unlike its predecessor it is the first diving watch ever to be equipped with an alarm and self-winding Calibre in a new size that reflects current trends.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has a long-term partnership with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the International Herald Tribune to help defend and protect outstanding marine sites that require immediate intervention. The Auction is a chance for watch lovers and collectors to participate in this very worthy cause.

The online Auction starts on 18th April, 2011 at 12.00 C.E.T. (Central European Time.) and ends on 21st April, 2011 at 18.00 C.E.T. Bidders can pre-register from 12th April, 2011. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Colombia’s Malpelo Fauna and Flora Sanctuary UNESCO World Heritage.
