Accademia Nazionale di Santa CeciliaBreguet partners the opening concert of the 2010/2011 opera season
Guillaume Tell, the last work composed by Gioachino Rossini, performed by the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia conducted by Antonio Pappano, opened the 2010/2011 opera season in Rome. Its profound attachment to European culture, and more particularly to classical music, naturally inspired Breguet to support this concert featuring an opera composed by one of its famous clients.
On all three performance dates – October 16th, 18th and 20th – the audience also enjoyed the opportunity to admire an exhibition of historical and contemporary Breguet watches, staged in the Musical Instruments Museum. Following the performance on October 20th, Breguet invited the Italian press, its clients as well as members of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia to a cocktail enlivened by a preview of its exceptional Réveil Musical model.
