Another up-and-coming tennis talent joins Rado Perfect match: Carina Witthöft & Rado
A new YoungStar has been born: Carina Witthöft is the latest addition to the Rado YoungStar programme. Rado launched the Rado YoungStar initiative in 2015 to accompany young tennis players on their journey to the top. The objective is to create an international team of talented, ambitious players to build the next generation of top tennis pros.
Hailed as “Germany’s next tennis star” (Hamburg Evening Post), Carina Witthöft has already won 11 titles in her career, which began when she turned pro in 2011. In 2015 she made it to the third round of the Australian Open – her biggest career success so far. Born into a family of tennis enthusiasts, Carina started playing tennis at the age of four. Her career goals include winning a Grand Slam title and making it into the global Top 10. Rado is thrilled to have the opportunity to support Carina every step of the way on her journey to success.
"I am very happy to be joining the Rado YoungStar programme,” stated Witthöft. “Rado's dedication to tennis over the past years has been terrific and I am looking forward to working with a brand that is as passionate about the game as I am."
Carina joins an international lineup of other young tennis talents: Hyeon Chung (South Korea), Saisai Zheng (China), Jared Donaldson (USA), and Karen Khachanov (Russia). Recent YoungStar successes include Saisai Zheng's ranking as China’s #1 women's tennis player and Karen Khachanov's victory at the Challenger Tournament in Istanbul.
