Greg Norman makes Trophy Presentation to winner Miguel Angel Jiménez
(09/2010) At the awards-presentation ceremony following the OMEGA European Masters, Miguel Angel Jiménez received his championship trophy from Stephen Urquhart, president of OMEGA, and golfing legend Greg Norman. He was also given an Omega "Mission Hills World Cup" Constellation Double Eagle Co-Axial Chronograph Titanium and the red jacket indicating that he is this the 2010 European Master. Don Vito Wyprächtiger will make history
Oris Big Crown Air Racing hits Nevada
(09/2010) From 15th – 19th September this year Oris is taking part in the world famous Reno Air Race in Nevada, USA with its team 'Oris Big Crown Air Racing'. Aerobatic pilot Don Vito Wyprächtiger will make history as he competes in the 'Formula One' category in his trusty "Scarlet Screamer": he will become the first ever Swiss to feature at Reno. He qualified for the event by attending a Rookie Camp, which he passed with flying colours. After seeing his performance the organisers gave him the go-ahead to take part in this year’s race. (more…)

(09/2010) When Greg Norman – golf’s legendary Great White Shark – stepped up to the first tee at the OMEGA European Masters golf tournament in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, he did so as the newest member of OMEGA’s family of brand ambassadors. OMEGA and Norman made the announcement as the event got underway at the scenic Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club on Thursday the 2nd of September. (more…)

FIA GT1: Mixed emotions for Reiter Engineering at Nurburgring
(09/2010) There were mixed emotions for the Reiter Engineering Lamborghini team in the sixth round of the FIA GT1 World Championship and races 11 and 12 of the ADAC GT Masters at the Nurburgring circuit. In the GT1 category Peter Kox and Christopher Haase had a successful weekend finishing second in the Championship Race on Sunday in the Blancpain Lamborghini Murcielago 670 R-S No.24 after a brilliant display of teamwork at the pit stop. That result followed a third place finish for the pair in the Qualifying Race the previous day. Both Kox and Haase paid tribute to the excellent work of the team at the driver-change pit stop for their ultimate success in the race. (more…)
