Swatch Art Peace Hotel: Boutiques Opening Brequet, Blancpain, Omega and Swatch open flagship stores

The opening of the ground floor of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel took place at 26th May 2010 in Shanghai with four exceptional boutiques in a grandiose architectural environment. The Swatch Art Peace Hotel, an emblematic historical building located at the corner of the Bund and Nanjing Road, reopened today after several years of restoration work that will enable it to welcome the public in the boutiques of four of Swatch Group’s most prestigious brands – Blancpain, Breguet, Omega and Swatch.

Blancpain sets the tone at the heart of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai. Just a few hours after the opening of its new boutique – alongside those of Breguet, Omega and Swatch – the three first watches to be snapped up in the newly opened establishment at the junction of the city’s famous Bund and Nanjing Road premier shopping streets bear the signature of the Manufacture from Le Brassus.

BASELNEWS 2010 Swatch Group introduces the restoration at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai

The Swatch Group is presenting an exhibition at Baselworld in the Hall of Dreams from the 17th to the 19th of March, dedicated to its renovation of the South Building of the historic Peace Hotel, located on Shanghai’s legendary Bund, the city’s former ﬁnancial district and today its most famous landmark. The Swatch Group is working closely with its joint venture partner, Jin Jiang International, China’s leading hotel and travel group.
