Best vintage boat restoration Officine Panerai: Eilean wins the PREMIO ITALIA 2010 PER LA VELA

Angelo Bonati, CEO of Officine Panerai, collected the “Premio Italia per la Vela 2010” prize for Best Vintage Boat Restoration on Friday April 23rd at the Livorno Naval Academy, in Italy; the award was won by Eilean, the Bermudian ketch built in 1936 by the legendary Scottish boatyard, Fife of Fairlie and bought by Officine Panerai in 2007 which then underwent conservation and restoration works lasting three years.

BCYC Cowes Regatta OFFICINE PANERAI announces sponsorship

The ninth British Classic Yacht Club (BCYC) Cowes Regatta (Isle of Wight, UK) will join the prestigious Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge Circuit (PCYC) from 2010 as part of a three-year sponsorship deal signed this month. The BCYC Cowes Regatta which will take place from Sunday 18th to Saturday 24th July 2010 will be the first UK event to join the Panerai Circuit.

Expansion Officine Panerai grows worldwide with five new boutiques

Officine Panerai inaugurates five new boutiques in as many international shopping capitals. Between November and December 2009, in fact, Officine Panerai boutiques will be opened in Doha (Qatar), Beirut (Lebanon), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Geneva (Switzerland) and Macao (China). The expansion concerns both recent and fast-growing markets – such as China and the Middle East – and a place of ancient watch-making traditions like Geneva, where the boutique will be inaugurated in the prestigious Rue du Rhône.
