Numerous premieres in 7th year of Berlinale Partnership Glashütte Original looks forward to unique moments on and around the Red Carpet

For Glashütte Original the 67th Berlinale, taking place from the 9th to the 19th of February, will bring not one, but a number of premieres. This year the German watchmaker debuts as Principal Partner of the Berlin International Film Festival, and crowns this 7th year of support for filmmakers with the founding and funding of the Glashütte Original Documentary Award.

Glashütte Original and the Berlinale are looking forward to the 65th Berlin International Film Festival, when they will also be celebrating the fifth year of their partnership. This collaboration has been continually strengthened since the partnership began in 2011.

Made in Germany – Perspektive Fellowship Glashütte Original and Berlinale launch award for young German directors

Glashütte Original, the high-end German watchmaker and Co-Partner of the Berlin International Film Festival, has reinforced its commitment to excellence in German craft and culture by funding an annual 15,000 Euro fellowship for young German film directors, to be known as the “Made in Germany – Perspektive Fellowship” award.
