(03/2011) Gucci Timepieces is pleased to introduce two new precious variants of the G-Frame watch designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini. The super-slim rectangular case of these G-Frame variants features diamonds set along the sides of the case at 3 and 9 o’ clock, creating the perfect formal, feminine timepiece. The dial is notably minimal, adorned simply with elegant hands and the Gucci name at 12 o’clock. The fine stainless steel bracelet comes with a Gucci brown mirrored dial. As with all G-Frame models, the sapphire crystal glass is bevel-cut and scratch-resistant.

Highlighting this premier family from the Movado heritage category for 2011 is a trio of striking new special edition automatic chronographs. The engine-turning on the dial is reminiscent of boat rope, undulating waves grace the caseband, the luminescent blue and white hourmarkers represent lighthouses, and the hour and minute hands are shaped like a ship's hull.
(03/2011) The new Infantry Vintage Mechanical is trimmer in case size from its mechanical predecessors, in keeping with contemporary watch aesthetics. The look is simpler but refined: the tone-on-tone color block combinations set it apart. So, too, does its dial presentation: three bold hands and three circles of indicators — 24-hour military markers in the middle, oversized Arabic hours around them, and a 60-minute/second track with 5-second intervals at the dial periphery.
(03/2011) Blancpain presents the first half-timezone model with 8-day power-reserve in the Villeret collection. This complication serves to adjust the second timezone on the watch in 30-minute increments and thus to ensure relaxed travel to countries with half-hour time differences*. The new half-timezone model in the Villeret collection is equipped with the 5235DF calibre developed by the Manufacture Blancpain in le Brassus. This new 324-part self-winding movement features a triple series-coupled barrel system that ensures an autonomy of 8 days and guarantees its stable rating.
