At the 2003 Salon de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) Montblanc presented two new model series from the “Montblanc Sport Collection“ which were launched this autumn. The material: robust – stainless steel or titanium. The design: sporty and multifunctional. The finishing: manufactured by Montblanc in Switzerland according to the high demands of traditional craftsmanship. And these new watches not only precisely measure time, they are also waterproof to a depth of 200 m, amazingly shock-resistant and boast high functionality.
Montblanc Multifunction Titanium – a sport watch in a class of its own
A true Titan on your wrist! Firstly thanks to the material: the watch case (with screw-down crown and side protection) is made of titanium, a costly and innovative material frequently used in aviation and aerospace due to its high stability and light weight. But it’s also a Titan in terms of size, with an impressive diameter of 44 mm.
Much more than just perfect timekeeping! The analogue display of hours, minutes and seconds is supplemented by no less than ten digital functions, including dial illumination, date display, second time zone, week number, daily and annual alarm function, chronograph, timer and battery charge status. The titanium and stainless steel bracelet forms a classical and distinctively masculine companion to the titanium case and the black dial. Alternatively, the brown alligator strap with white seams and buckle fastening creates a subtle contrast while underlining the sporty quality.
Montblanc GMT Automatic – sporting elegance for two time zones
With the new “GMT Automatic“ models in stainless steel, Montblanc presents dynamic proof of a sporting lifestyle. The GMT function (Greenwich Mean Time) of the rotating lunette allows you to set a second time zone. Two time zones can be checked at a glance! Ideal for frequent travellers or those who telephone with business partners in other time zones. The GMT Automatic is available in two tone-in-tone models: One model with a stainless steel bracelet and a silver-coloured dial and one with a black rubber strap and a black dial.
