90th AnniversaryGucci Celebrates with Gucci 1921 Watch Collection
In celebration of its 90th anniversary, Gucci is pleased to introduce the Gucci 1921 watch collection. Named after the year in which Guccio Gucci founded the Florentine House, the collection includes four female styles and two male styles belonging to the Gucci Coupé collection, designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini.

Guccio’s commitment to craftsmanship and his iconic style have endured throughout the House's many lives and today represent a tradition of quality and luxury. True to this legacy, Gucci Timepieces has come to be recognized as an authority in watchmaking and Made in Switzerland excellence.
Classic and contemporary
The Gucci 1921 collection boasts a design that fuses classic and contemporary: the sophisticated square shape of the timepiece references the aesthetics of the 1920s all the while creating a modern style.
Each watch is distinguished by a unique leather-clad case, in a choice of black, dark brown, camel or white calfskin. The leather straps complement the dials with either matching or contrasting shades of black and dark brown or white. Both the bracelet and the clasp feature Gucci's iconic horsebit.
The male styles are crafted with a Dubois-Depraz automatic movement and feature a rounded-square sun-brushed steel case and a unique dial. The sleek, sport-inspired face shows the hour and minutes with a small second hand at 9 o’clock and circular date counter at 3 o’clock. The dial also bears the logo of Guccio Gucci’s signature at the top and the year ‘1921.' Available in brown or black, leather straps are embossed with the diamante pattern designed around dial in either cream or black.
The Gucci 1921, as all Gucci timepieces, is assembled by hand and showcases the workmanship of Gucci’s leather artisans: the top grain leathers are hand-tooled by expert craftsmen, the various watch components are assembled individually, and the leather casing and strap are both partially stitched by hand.
The elegantly simple dial includes minimal indexes, slim hands and the Gucci name. Particular attention has been paid to details such as the ‘G’ initial on the crown and the Guccio Gucci signature on the case back.
