BASELNEWS 2010Timex Revs Up Timex T Series Racing Chronograph Collection
Timex presents at BASELWORLD two additions to its Timex T Series® racing collection. Launched in 2007, the Timex T Series Racing Collection successfully marked the debut of sports driven fashion watches. This heritage inspired collection draws on classic automotive cues to deliver bold styling and accurate time keeping. The new additions continue to express strength through the powerful design details that made the original launch a success.
New for 2010, the Timex T Series Racing Chronograph collection is expanded to feature dramatic color enhancements that illustrate structure and power. The first of the two additions is stark black and features an all black dial offset by crisp white accents, three chronograph sub-dials measuring down to 1/20th of a second and a red signature ‘T’ sweep seconds hand. The second update features a silver sunray textured dial with contrasting gold-tone accents.
Inspired by motor sports and the precision of automotive engineering, the rugged texture of this watch’s genuine leather strap displays a subtle geometric stamped pattern. Other bold styling details which beautifully accent the 38mm stainless steel case include the smooth shape of the two pushers at the “2” and “4” positions and bold grid-patterned crown. Both updates also include a framed date window at four o’clock. Each watch is water resistant to up to 100m.
