Qualities that appeal to business people: elegance, quality, a striking yet subtle appearance. We are not talking about shoes, shirt, tie, suit or spectacles, however, but a wristwatch. The Flatline series fulfils all these requirements.

And now the series has a new addition in the form of the DAVOSA Flatline Phase of Moon. The family likeness is unmistakable: a classically round and polished stainless steel case with a diameter of 40 mm and a height of only 7.1 mm, and a Swiss Ronda 708 quality movement.

Tidy dial

Under scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lies a symmetrically aligned dial with a fine guilloché minute zone. This is where the DAVOSA Flatline Phase of Moon displays its independence – and dares to be different. Because above the centre, a moon phase display is positioned on a second dial layer. The starry sky above the centre reflects the colours of the hands and hand-applied indices – which are either gold-plated or blued, and accentuated with dots of Super-LumiNova in both versions. Below the centre is the DAVOSA logo and under this a date display – again entirely simple and discreet.

No fear of rain

The DAVOSA Flatline Phase of Moon with its 5ATM water resistance is worn on a black, crocodile grain leather band featuring black stitching and a pin buckle. The recommended retail price is 248 euros.
