In the days of A-L Breguet, the firm’s clients were both men and women, some of them among the leading personalities of the age. The manufacturing company, being fully aware of women’s interest in watches, gallantly undertakes to design watches for them fitted with mechanical movements especially suited to women.
As a result of this approach, the brand introduced the 8827 a few years ago, a Marine Chronograph for women that was soon marked out for a style evoking elegant activity. Today Breguet unveils a new version of this ever-contemporary watch. Introduced in a 34.6mm steel case water resistant to 5 bar (50m), this model displays a very feminine dial in white mother-of-pearl. Like its predecessors, it adds to its beauty all the functions of a real chronograph with the hours and minutes in the centre, small seconds and a dates window at 6 o'clock. Pressing the chronograph button sets in motion the central seconds hand, the 30 minutes counter at 3 o'clock and the 12 hours counter at 9 o'clock.This is all made possible by the calibre 550, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of 45 hours.
To meet every desire, two kinds of bracelet are offered with this watch. The first, a turquoise leather strap, is exclusive to the model, and the other is a new metal bracelet designed to fit all the reference 8827 watches.
