The Rotary Aquaspeed collection is the subject of a headline-grabbing new TV advertising campaign as the Swiss Made “Pacific” collection takes centre stage. First launched at the beginning of 2009, the Rotary Aquaspeed collection of sports-inspired watches has been an overwhelming success, and is a reminder of the company’s expertise as a leading watch supplier.
The Rotary Aquaspeed collection emphasizes Rotary’s commitment to the expansion of its portfolio beyond traditional dress watch designs. Inspired by models first launched in the 1950’s and 1960’s, the Aquaspeed collection puts a modern spin on Rotary’s classic styles.
In recognition of its role as “Official Time Keeper” to the crew of the Clipper 11-12 Round the World Yacht Race, Rotary Watches has launched a highly-charged TV advertising campaign that features gents and ladies watches from its new Swiss Made “Pacific” range. Consisting of 15 highly desirable waterproof watches, the collection caters to all tastes with the inclusion of stainless steel, PVD yellow and rose gold strap and bracelet models.
The gents offering includes performance chronograph strap and bracelet watches as well as robust rubber strap pieces with striking dials. The ladies watch selection has a combination of avant garde bracelet watches with ceramic links as well as more feminine lines with mother of pearl dials and Austrian crystal set bezels.
Also new for 2012 are two limited edition interchangeable models designed exclusively for water sports. AGB00073/W/KIT combines a stainless steel case with a black rotating divers bezel that surrounds a fully luminous dial that ensures optimum visibility whilst participating in water sports and diving. Offering the option to alternate between a stainless steel or leather strap, this is a striking yet functional timepiece.
AGS00073/W/KIT is a stainless steel model with coordinating rotating divers bezel that meets a midnight black dial set with luminous dial markers. The addition of red dial accents results in a highly-impactful sportive design. This model is similarly offered with both a strap and stainless steel bracelet. Both of the interchangeable watches are supplied in a highly durable presentation case that includes a tool to provide quick-release of the strap or bracelet.
