Brought to life by its palladium case, the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar combines the functions and style of a great watchmaking classic, reworked in a unique metal. This limited edition integrates a full calendar displaying the date, day of the week, month and moon phases.
Launching the family of JEAN DUNAND watches, a continual program of Pièces Uniques, required something more than a mere aesthetic fillip. The watch had to be fresh, original, groundbreaking. At a time when watch connoisseurs are spoiled for choice, a watch commemorating the great Art Deco artist and craftsman had to be heartstoppingly beautiful and daring.
Following the great success of its first Extreme Tourbillon Regulator Manufacture – the Full Black version – at Baselworld in 2009, ALPINA Genève is proud to present two new models in gold, both issued in an extremely limited series of just 18 numbered pieces. These new versions, both as astonishing as the first, feature a “Full Black” dial and a caliber consisting of 188 parts, equipped with a Silicium Escapement Wheel and the latest development: a Silicium lever.

In 2001, a dramatic incident changed the working life of Jan Sliva, head of the in-house studio for historic Lange pocket watches. A visitor of the manufactory had handed him an old pocket watch and asked for an appraisal. It was clear from the very first moment that this timepiece was an extraordinary one. Featuring a zalium case – a material used exclusively in watchmaking by Harry Winston – Project Z6 announces the arrival of a new complication in the collection: a 24-hour alarm on a hand-wound movement specially developed for this timepiece and exclusive to Harry Winston. Adjusted by the crown, the striking-mechanism for the alarm is activated by a trigger at 4 o’clock.

The King Power TOURBILLON GMT is the first Hublot Tourbillon watch to feature a dual time zone indicator. The two-colour dial is set in the 2 o'clock position to allow the traveller to see the time in the place of his or her choice. It took more than two and a half years of development for the DE BETHUNE Manufacture to present the final version of its silicon / titanium tourbillon, the lightest tourbillon in the world with a remarkable frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. This tourbillion differs from others in its design, since it has been adapted and calculated for a wristwatch, as opposed to existing tourbillons which are smaller versions of those used in pocket watches.
