Mayor Frank Reichel as well as Deputy Mayor Andreas Loose welcomed Mr. Tillich in the name of the city. The foundation’s managing director Michael Kicherer also cordially welcomed the visitor from the capital, who was accompanied by District Administrator Michael Geisler.

He has known and has followed Hayek for more than 30 years now. Wegelin has researched in Hayek’s native Lebanon and interviewed virtually 60 former companions, colleagues and competitors for his book project.
