(06/2011) A. Lange & Söhne is to make a unique version of their LANGE ZEITWERK in white gold with a grey dial for this year's Kidz Horizon Charity Ball in Singapore, a first for the brand in Asia. In August 2009, Duncan Wang, an American Chinese businessman and watch collector passed away at the age of 44 years. His parents and his friends in Singapore found a fitting way to remember him, based on the two things that he was most passionate about – watches and charities.

(06/2011) A. Lange & Söhne has assisted in the realisation of an opera production at the Salzburg Whitsun Festival for the past five years. This year it was Saverio Mercadante's opera “I due Figaro”, which has celebrated its premiere on 10 June 2011 under the direction of Riccardo Muti and his “Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini”. Lange decided in 2006 to support the new artistic concept for the Whitsun Festival, which focuses on the revival of forgotten masterpieces of the Neapolitan School. This collaboration is based on shared values, in particular a passion for perfection and respect for the craftsmanship without which even the best artistic concepts cannot be implemented.
