For the second consecutive yearJaeger-LeCoultre partners with Global Champions Tour
The Global Champions Tour (“GCT”), the most prestigious championship in show jumping today, is proud to announce that Jaeger-LeCoultre will be the official partner and time keeper of the Tour for the next seasons. From the entrance arch to the main playground, Jaeger-LeCoultre will be present on the main areas of the competitions. During the events, guests will be welcomed in the VIP area, where they will attend a beautiful spectacular and also discover the latest timepieces from La Grande Maison.
In 2011, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Reverso, the winner of every tournament will win a Reverso specially engraved by the Manufacture for this occasion. The Global Champions Tour was founded by Olympic gold medalist Jan Tops in 2006, with the objective to improve the sport through better conditions for riders, horses, horse owners, sponsors and spectators alike. The series, which in 2011 realises 10 events across 9 countries, has a total prize money cache of 7 million Euro.
