This prestigious award is a wonderful tribute to the Chronomètre à Résonance, celebrating today, with a new interpretation, the 10 years of this remarkable complication. It is a fortunate coincidence to be rewarded on the 10th anniversary of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.
The Chronomètre à Résonance is an emblematic timepiece that significantly marks the research on precision made by the master watchmaker François-Paul Journe. In an ultimate quest for precision, the new face of the Chronomètre à Résonance features today a dial at 9h offering a time indication of 24 hours, defining precisely the hours of day and those of night. The dial at 3h in silver guilloche indicates the local time but can also be used for the same time zone. The Chronomètre à Résonance features a movement in 18K rose gold, an exclusive specification that apply to all the precision chronometers of the brand.
