Watch Out Evening & Day High Watchmaking gathering at its best level of execution
Jaeger-LeCoultre was very proud to present some of its latest timepieces on 13th and 14th October in Stockholm, Sweden. This event was organized by one of the major partners of the Manufacture: Nymans Ur and Krons Ur and took place in the Grand Hotel of Stockholm. During the Watch Out Evening & Day, more than 600 participants could attend the presentation by Janek Deleskiewicz, Artistic Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre about the Master Compressor Extreme LAB2 Tribute to Geophysic. This wach Launched during the SIHH 2010 was presented in avant-première together with the legendary 1958 Geophysic Chronometer, the Master Compressor Extreme LAB and the Master Compressor Extreme World Chronograph. Those watches have accompanied the mountaineers last year who successfully scaled a Nepalese virgin summit, christened Antoine LeCoultre’s Peak in 2009.
The Geophysic Chronometer first launched in 1958 is one of the most important models in the history of Jaeger-LeCoultre, encapsulating the values of precision, resistance and aesthetic values. It was born within an historical scientific context to which it made a direct contribution. The Master Compressor Extrem LAB was launched in 2007. This avant-garde timepiece heralds the future of watchmaking, since it operates without any oil or other lubricant. Revolutionary geometry, cutting-edge technical advancements and the use of high-tech materials enable it to withstand extreme conditions such as those prevailing at high altitudes, in order to maintain its remarkable precision at temperatures ranging between -40°C to 60°C. For a watch developed with genuine passion by a dedicated Jaeger-LeCoultre research unit, the time for real-life adventure has come.
On Wednesday evening & Thursday, collectors and watch lovers could discover a larger collection of refined timepieces. The Dumètre line with the Duomètre à Quantième Lunaire, the Duomètre à Chronographe. Watches from both Master Control and Master Compressor lines were displayed together with the Iconic Reverso and some High Jewellery timepieces.
