Revenue transferred to World Association of Children's FriendsGirard-Perregaux sponsors World Stars Football
Over the years, World Stars Football has become an essential date for all sports enthusiasts who have come from all corners of the globe to attend the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix. Every year more top-level sportsmen answer the call of the “Star Team MC” to participate. The F1 drivers' team captained by Fernando Alonso beat the “Star Team” led by HRH Prince Albert II, and comprising internationally renowned sportsmen.
The revenue from this exceptional match will be transferred to the World Association of Children's Friends (AMADE), to support initiatives aimed at helping underprivileged children worldwide. Girard-Perregaux “Haute Horlogerie” Manufacture had the honour of partnering this 17th edition of the “World Stars Football Match”, held on Tuesday 11 May 2010 in Monaco's Stade Louis II.
