Brand ambassador and GP2 ace driver Fabio Leimer paid a special first visit to his Swiss sportwatch brand and sponsor CERTINA, on July 14 in Le Locle. With his managers, and friend Rolf Biland (seven-times sidecar motorcycling world champion), Fabio came to meet the full dynamic team behind the exciting timepieces, and enjoy an inside tour of the cutting-edge CERTINA facilities. He was very impressed, and noted that in motorsports, as in watchmaking, success rides on the highest precision, finest technical know-how and continuous innovation. To mark his memorable visit to CERTINA headquarters, company President Adrian Bosshard presented Fabio with a chronograph from the new DS Rookie product line.
Fabio Leimer is a major Swiss motorsport talent currently racing his first season in the GP2 series. In the second race of the 2010 calendar, at Barcelona, his excellent driving saw him take first place, a very promising debut to what is sure to be a long and exciting career.
