Audemars Piguet ambassadorLee Westwood wins the St. Jude Classic in Memphis

An Audemars Piguet ambassador since 2005, Lee Westwood has gained renewed success on American soil by winning his second tournament in the United States (after a first in 1998). He finished at 10 under par after the longest playoff in the history of the St. Jude Classic. The 37 year-old Englishman said: "It's definitely nice to win again. Nobody likes negative questions when you try to be positive all the time."

Since his first American title, Westwood has won 18 tournaments in Europe including two European Order of Merit cups that he displays in his trophy cabinet in Nottingham (2000 and 2009). He finished in the top three in the last three Grand Slams and is currently world number three. He will play for the European team in the legendary Ryder Cup this autumn. Meanwhile, he will have gained extra confidence for the US Open, one of the four Majors, which starts this week in Pebble Beach.

Lee Westwood is the proud wearer of watches from the Royal Oak and Royal Oak Offshore collections. The Royal Oak embodies a perfect blend of style and force, precisely the kind of qualities that Audemars Piguet admires in Lee. Over the coming weeks and on links and greens the world over, he will continue to represent the brand while sporting Audemars Piguet timepieces on his wrist.
