Bruno Senna – an ambassador for Hublot
Bruno Senna, currently second in the GP2 championship, will take part in the last round of the 2008 season at Monza this weekend. The finale promises to be exciting for both Bruno and Hublot, which is very proud to be its partner in the watchmaking world!
Hublot’s involvement with the Senna family began in 2007, in Brazil, with a partnership with the Instituto Ayrton Senna. The brand created a limited series Big Bang, of which part of the sales proceeds is destined to support the foundation created and presided over by Viviane, the sister of the late Ayrton Senna. It was on this occasion that Bruno, Viviane’s son, who was already committed to motor racing, met Jean-Claude Biver and the Hublot team. The very talented young pilot and the boss of Hublot immediately got on very well – Jean-Claude being won over by Bruno’s determination, ambition and values which are shared within his family and their projects naturally led the watchmaking brand to support Bruno. His second season in GP2 has up to now been marked by outstanding results - 6 podium finishes in 10 races - showing he can have a bright future in Formula 1. We will soon find out!
Jean-Claude Biver is very proud to associate Hublot with the young champion’s challenge: "I hope that in addition to all the talent that Bruno has, Hublot will contribute to bringing him luck in his races, and that Monza will see him at his best!" As for Bruno, he is particularly happy to be part of the Hublot family, and hopes to create constructive synergies with the brand through his image and positive energy : “ I’m very proud of being supported by such a high end brand as Hublot is ! The synergies between the Senna family and Hublot are very powerfull and I’m really happy to be part of this successful partnership”.
