Success for the Spanish Police 80.000 fake luxury watches seized
The Spanish police in Palma used an anonymous tip-off to land an impressive blow against the international bootlegging mafia. At a raid on three garages in the Playa de Palma, a total of 80,000 fake brand-name and luxury watches were seized.
The copies were destined for flying traders on Majorca who sell the watches to tourists. The number of flying traders on Majorca has dramatically risen over the last few months due to the ongoing economic crisis.
