For the first time, TrustedWatch.TV presents the movie about the watch fair BASELWORLD 2010 already during the fair. Two camera teams and several reporters of TrustedWatch.TV were present in the fair halls under the direction of chief editor Dr. Klaus Adam to capture the newest developments, backgrounds, trends, and opinions for BASEL10 – the film about the BASELWORLD and produce a unique movie.

A unique report with over 2 hours of total length was made from over 80 hours of film material. Experience the „Giants“ and the „Makers“ of the watch branch in personal background interviews with exclusive statements for the viewers and users of TrustedWatch.TV.

BASELNEWS 2011 BASELWORLD 2011: Eight highly successful days

This year’s BASELWORLD will go down in history as a spectacular highlight. The World Watch and Jewellery Show closed its doors today after eight highly successful days. The exhibitors were particularly satisfied, with 103,200 visitors (+2.5% / 2010) and outstanding sales. The innovations and trends presented underlined BASELWORLD’s key global position as the leading show for the watch and jewellery industry.

This partnership marks a significant breakthrough for the watchmaking industry SIHH and BASELWORLD to coordinate their dates from 2020

From 2020, the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva (SIHH) and Baselworld in Basel, the two major events in the watch industry, will synchronise their calendars. In 2020, the SIHH will be held from 26 to 29 April in Geneva, followed immediately by Baselworld from 30 April to 5 May in Basel. The calendars have been synchronised until 2024.
