Two inaugurationsOMEGA Flagship Stores open in Hangzhou and Ningbo
OMEGA opened its Flagship stores in Hangzhou and Ningbo on September 26 and 28 respectively. OMEGA ambassador and Taiwanese pop singer Richie Jen was invited as the VIP guest for both inaugurations. The 75 square-metre premises of the OMEGA Hangzhou Flagship Store - the 13th OMEGA Flagship Store in China – is located in the downtown Hangzhou Plaza: a highly popular shopping area for nationals and tourists alike.
The OMEGA Ningbo Flagship store is in the international shopping centre at Tianyi Square. Its impressive 138 square-metre surface area makes it the largest OMEGA Flagship store in the Asia-Pacific region. Other Flagship stores in this part of the world are situated in Beijing, Shenyang, Dalian, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Kumming and Hong Kong.
Both inaugurations attracted large crowds and media coverage. Richie Jen signed autographs and was present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. In tradition Chinese style, a Lion Dance marked the inauguration celebrations. Mr Kevin Rollenhagen, OMEGA Vice President of China and Hong Kong, said, "The launch of the two Flagship Stores will offer watch buyers the complete lines of OMEGA's most exclusive collections as well as a convenient centre for providing world-class customer services. It promises an exciting new retail experience for China's watch enthusiasts.
The opening of the Hangzhou and Ningbo Flagship stores is a veritable milestone in OMEGA's business development in China. The prestige watch manufacturer is planning to open more Flagship stores worldwide to consolidate its leading position in the global timepiece market.
