ExpansionOfficine Panerai grows worldwide with five new boutiques
Officine Panerai inaugurates five new boutiques in as many international shopping capitals. Between November and December 2009, in fact, Officine Panerai boutiques will be opened in Doha (Qatar), Beirut (Lebanon), Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Geneva (Switzerland) and Macao (China). The expansion concerns both recent and fast-growing markets – such as China and the Middle East – and a place of ancient watch-making traditions like Geneva, where the boutique will be inaugurated in the prestigious Rue du Rhône.
The new Officine Panerai boutiques offer customers and collectors the opportunity to immerse themselves fully in the Panerai experience inside exclusive, minimal points of sale where the architecture, furnishings, materials and colours evoke the world of the sea, a world with which the Florentine brand has always enjoyed strong ties. The Panerai watch collections are in fact housed in settings characterised by teak wood and steel, porthole shaped windows and furnishings as sinuous as ocean waves or the hulls of the most elegant yachts.
