Combining a mechanical movement with a GPS application, the RECONVILIER Hercules Golf Master enables golfers for the very first time to measure the distance to the green, front edge or centre! This original function is displayed on the front of the watch in metres or yards, while the reversible “Rotar” mechanism provides a classic analogue reading of the time on the other side. With one touch, the time is also displayed digitally.
Watch tradition since 1905
Société Horlogère Reconvilier (SHR) was first officially documented in 1905. It was at the time known for classical watches in traditional design with relatively simple Roskopf movements (patented 1860) – a title for quality, precision and high reliability.
The acquisition of the “Louis Roskopf & Cie” patents around 1923 created the basis for the fast increasing development and reputation of solid reliable and price competitive watches. Reconvilier became famous as „the people’s watch“ all over the world and sold more than 10 mio pieces. Until 1970 the company was registered in Swiss canton Bern.
Technical details
In the year 2006 Reconvilier was revitalized in the canton of Zug. Next to the established classical watches, the new “Reconvilier” will bring to market innovations which are unique and technical outstanding and therefore lead the new image of the company into the future.
