Watch of the Year Awards in DubaïVacheron Constantin among the winners
During the 2006 Watch of the Year Awards organised by the watch and jewellery magazine Alam Assaat Wal Moujawharat on February 13th 2007 in Dubaï, Vacheron Constantin’s Patrimony Contemporaine Collection Excellence Platine was awarded first prize for the best “Classic Watch”. This was one of 13 categories.
The gala evening, held at the Al Salam Hotel, was attended by many VIP guests, who came from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Switzerland specially for the event. Switzerland’s consul general, H.E. Hans Hauser, chaired the jury, which comprised the following Haute Horlogerie professionals: Yussuf Al Nouwais, Group Vice-Chairman of Emirates Holding; Ingie Chalhoub, President and Managing Director of the Etoile Group; Mohammed Seddiqi; Fardan Al Fardan; Tawhid Abdallah, Managing Director of Damas Jewelry; Jamil Matar, Managing Director of Al Fardan Jewelry-KSA; Maximillian Busser; Giulio Papi; Abul Qassim Shirazi, Managing Director of the Bahrain Jewelry Center; Abdallah Al Sayegh, Vice-President of Al Sayegh Jewelry; and Roger Mrad, Managing Director of Wadih Mrad. Est. Lebanon.
