Very smart!BASELWORLD 2017: The ALPINA – Seastrong Horological Smartwatch
In the 1960s, the Seastrong by Alpina plunged to 200-metre depths and established itself as the gold standard in its field.
While it has maintained its diving credentials along with its distinctive identity codes of watchmaking craftsmanship and pleasing aesthetic appeal, it now also turns smart. As well as activity tracking and sleep monitoring, it features various other functions such as dynamic coaching, 24-hour worldtimer, automatic adjustment via smartphone when changing time zone, as well as various types of notifications and alerts. If the watch is lost, the data can be easily recovered, since the measurements are automatically stored in an independent cloud for 30 days without any need for synchronisation with a smartphone.
Finally, the MMT-356 app connecting to the smartwatch via Bluetooth is available on both iOS and Android systems.
