The Austrian launch of the Jaeger-LeCoultre „Hybris Mechanica 55“ took place at Wagner, the jewellers, in Kärntner Street, Vienna. Janek Deleskiewicz, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s chief designer, and David Candaux, master watch-maker in grand complications, presented the unique set of three watches in the specially created strong-room on the first floor to 150 enthusiastic invited guests.

Following the press presentation, the official opening of the exhibition for invited customers of Wagner jewellers took place. Among others present were Mag. Florian Jonak (luxury boutique manager), Dr Georg Springer (managing director of Bundestheater-Holding) and Ursula Stenzel (chairwoman of the Vienna district 1 council).

The exhibition was open from 6 to 10 November during business hours for all Jaeger-LeCoultre enthusiasts and lovers of exquisite micromechanical timepieces. It was dedicated to the manufacture’s watch-making knowledge and expertise, from the smallest mechanical movement in the world, the Calibre 101, to the most sophisticated grand complications such as the tourbillon and minute repeater. The 2009 exhibition novelties in the legendary Reverso Collection and the Master Grande Tradition range were also on show.
