Brad Pitt had been the ambassador for TAG Heuer for six years, but his contract recently expired. However, the Swiss watch brand was looking for a new and young face.
TAG Heuer has chosen Leonardo DiCaprio for the new advertising campaign. Leonardo DiCaprio has signed on as new TAG Heuer Ambassador. Insiders estimate the three-year contract to be worth several million dollars. However, it is rumoured that this was a struggle because TAG Heuer is supposedly “belt-tightening” due to the financial crisis. For Leonardo DiCaprio, the company apparently went to great expense once more.
