Watch Forums Distance Themselves
Uhrforum.de: Lukas Zero concedes to calling for a boycott
It's getting lonely for Lukas Zero and his Uhrforum.de. During the last few days, the most important Swiss watch forum has deleted information in a thread regarding discussions between Uhrforum.de and TrustedWatch. The most famous German watch forum has completely deleted its thread. Both forums were permitted to carry out these deletions by prior agreement, and without recourse to legal means.
At Uhrforum.de there has also been movement. The thread, which runs to over 35 pages, was not deleted but massively edited. Obviously someone has attempted to blur the evidence and practice damage limitation. The knowledge has now reached Lukas Zero that calls for a boycott will not help, as he explains in a post from the 2nd of December 2011, late in the evening, at 21.42 - "Yesterday the boycott calls were removed from this thread. It is clear that this incident has annoyed many, but such demands will not help us.“
But all of the deletions and all of the edits will never help Lukas Zero and his Uhrenforum as long as he refuses to come to the table and seek a mutually agreeable solution with TrustedWatch, giving him the opportunity to achieve genuine damage limitation.
