Simply Against the Law!
Uhrforum.de deletes and edits Reports on a Large Scale
Over the past few days, Lukas Zero, the Uhrforum.de operator, felt it was repeatedly necessary to edit or delete reports and articles regarding TrustedWatch. Obviously the operator of Uhrforum.de is now aware - even if this enlightenment has occurred to him at a very late stage - that publishing false assertions about Trustedwatch.de, as well as infringing copyright, is purely and simply illegal!
This must be the reason for his panicked reaction as he deactivates all links to TrustedWatch and replaces TrustedWatch references with stars as place holders.
As expected, several watch forum members showed solidarity with the operator. However, various members clearly went a bit over the top. Advertising customers of TrustedWatch were contacted in an immoderate manner, and untruths were spread. The consequence: Legal measures are now being filed against four members, and negotiations with another member was settled by mutual agreement. Up until now, the search for member KaiUwe has resulted in six separate leads to the identity of this member from other members of the forum circle, and these are currently being followed up.
The deletions and changes carried out over the few past days and weeks are an impressive document for the legality of the demands of TrustedWatch. But these are not sufficient in themselves. In consideration of the gravity of the widespread false assertions, TrustedWatch intends to push these cases to their limits, demanding the severest penalties.
Update: 2nd of December 2011
Obviously the security measures provided by Uhrforum.de are extremely poor in preventing copyright infringements. At the moment, this article has been copied as an exact 1:1 copy on Uhrforum.de by the participant Cookie, on the 2nd of December, at 17.12, with complete disregard of copyright law and without naming of the author, something which is illegal. TrustedWatch has recently been substituted with stars as a place holder. Continuous and repeated copying is renewed proof of this illegal behaviour of individual Uhrforum.de members, something which is certain to create legal problems for the operator.
