Technology of the future at A. Lange & Söhne New manufactory building to have innovative geothermal heating

(05/2013) Construction operations are in progress at A. Lange & Söhne. A new building will be opened two years from now. Excavation work is complete, and the first building phase has begun. Drilling of boreholes for the extraction of geothermal heat started in early April, as the new manufactory will be heated by means of this environmentally friendly technology that extracts heat generated naturally in the Earth's crust.

(03/2013) On March 6, 2013, Günter Wiegand, Managing Director of Glashütte Original, presided over the opening of a modern factory in Pforzheim, Germany, for the manufactory’s own production of watch dials. Together with the facility manager, Kurt Müller, Mr Wiegand led guests on a tour of the well-lit rooms, around 1,300 square metres in all.

(02/2013) The new building project for MCH Messe Basel was first presented to the public just under seven years ago. After some 22 months' construction work – divided up over three building phases between June 2010 and February 2013 – HRS Real Estate AG, the general contractor responsible for building the complex, handed the new hall over to MCH Basel Exhibition on February 8, 2013, on schedule and according to plan.
