(02/2013) The new building project for MCH Messe Basel was first presented to the public just under seven years ago. After some 22 months' construction work – divided up over three building phases between June 2010 and February 2013 – HRS Real Estate AG, the general contractor responsible for building the complex, handed the new hall over to MCH Basel Exhibition on February 8, 2013, on schedule and according to plan.

(05/2011) Antiquorum's May auction of "Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces", held on Sunday, May 16 at the Geneva Mandarin Oriental, totaled 7,675,999 CHF, with 80% of the lots sold. This brought the total of Antiquorum's spring sales to 14,133,936 CHF. In addition to strong in-room attendance, there were many telephone and Internet bidders, with international participation coming from Hong Kong, Singapore, The Netherlands, Belarus, China and Japan. The top lot of the auction was the unique and exceptional Vacheron & Constantin "30 days, Constant Force" clock made in 1933 (lot 579). This Art Deco masterwork brought an impressive CHF 242,500.

Design Duel wins new award Porsche Design film receives Intermedia Globe in Gold

The auction of 275 rare and collectible timepieces drew a standing room only crowd, in addition to 301 registered internet bidders and phone bidders from around the world. Aggressive international bidding came from countries such as China, The Russian Federation, Qatar, Canada as well as the United States. Strong prices were achieved resulting in 81% sold by lot and 125 % sold by value.
